A Beta product generally refers to the first full version of a program or software tool. (In this case a robot or android.)

This term developers, the public will be notified that the version they are using may still have some bugs or unusual behavior. Obviously always adhered the three laws of robotics written by Isaac Asimov:

- A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.

- A robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law

- A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law

It is called precisely stage or "BETA" (second letter of the Greek)for being the second in the development cycle of a product.

Un producto Beta se refiere generalmente a la primera versión completa de algún programa o herramienta informática. (En este caso un Robot o androide.)

Con este término los desarrolladores, le avisan al público que la versión que están utilizando aún puede tener algunas fallas o un comportamiento inusual. Obviamente siempre se respetan las tres leyes de la robótica escritas por Isaac Asimov:

- Un robot no puede hacer daño a un ser humano o, por inacción, permitir que un ser humano sufra daño.

- Un robot debe obedecer las órdenes dadas por los seres humanos, excepto si estas órdenes entrasen en conflicto con la Primera Ley.

- Un robot debe proteger su propia existencia en la medida en que esta protección no entre en conflicto con la Primera o la Segunda Ley.

Se le llama justamente etapa u fase "BETA" (De la segunda letra del Griego), por ser la segunda en el ciclo de desarrollo del producto.
